„Two fires”

Equipment: a ball, a playground, chalk or a stick to draw the border lines. You can also use bollards to mark the border lines.

Number of players: at least 10. The more players, the more fun they have

A lot of people can take part in this game. They must have two equal teams. They need a place, which is divided into two equal parts. One person from each team is chosen and called „the mother”. This player must stand behind his/her opponents. The rest of the players mustn't come out of the line of the playing field.

The aim of this game is to through a ball in a way that it hits the people from the opponents team. One of „the mothers” who was selected in draw before game, starts the game. She/He should hit the ball at somebody from the opponent team or give the ball to a person from her team. The player who has the ball, has to hit his/her opponents. The person who was touched by the ball must leave the playing field. After that the game is continued but this time „the mother” who lost his/her player throws the ball. The shot isn’t ranked, when the ball touches the floor or hits opponent’s face. This game is finished, when no players from one of the teams are on the playing field.

Passage through the forest (in Polish Przeprawa przez lat)

Equipment: scarves or handkerchief

Rules: Divide a group of children into two teams. One group stands as trees in the forest, like a chessboard, at the same distance between all of the children. The second team should look at the “trees” for a while to see in which way the „trees” are set. After that they put scarves or handkerchief on their eyes and run through the „forest”. They can't touch any „tree”. The children who do it are the winners. The game will be easier, if the „trees” ‘rustle’.
