For the articles to read in advance, the student can earn 4 points (out of 20) based on the evaluation of the content and the relevance of his/her 3 questions and his/her interaction during the session. The other 16 points can be earned during an open book examination.

For the exam, students will be questioned on the content of 5 sessions (these themes are fixed in advance with the professor). The exam consists of an abstract presented by the student, followed by a discussion with the professor. Besides factual knowledge, the underpinnings of the student's opinion in a policy context on the subject are important.

1. Bespreek het hoofdstuk van nightlife. Wat wordt er bedoeld met de collaboratie van de lokale overheden? Leg uit symbolic work en geef voorbeeld.

2. Flanders planning: wat zijn de redenen voor een planning in vlaanderen. Leg uit welke verschillende plannen er zijn. Welke modellen zouden kunnen toegepast worden in Vlaanderen? Wat zijn volgens jouw de grootste uitdaging voor vlaanderen in de toekomst.

1) gezonde steden: model ecosysteem settlement uitleggen, ecodevice model en ecopolis strategie

2) Europese ruimtelijke planning: waarom + grote lijnen van hun visie + bijvraag over structuurfonds
