Science Resources

Science is a challenging subject for English Learners. It has difficult vocabulary, grammar, & text structure. Additionally, the U.S. uses the imperial system of measurement (pounds and inches) while other countries use the metric system (meters, liters, and grams) which can be confusing for ELs. Visuals, demonstrations, hands-on activities, as well as partner and group work can help.
