Personalized Dictionary

Dictionaries offer English Learners an immediate reference to the words in their native language. They build ELs' vocabulary and independence.

This personalized dictionary translates English words into multiple languages, provides definitions, and visuals. It also links words to Google pronunciation so that students can hear the word and practice its pronunciation.

An image of a word will automatically appear in column C. A big thank you to Adam Wilson for creating this code!

Students can also inset their own image by clicking on the 'Insert' tab, selecting 'Image' and 'Image in Cell'. Then they can either upload an image from their computer, camera, search on the web, etc.
