Adaptation (TAIL Model)

A stands for Adaptation in the TAIL model. Adaptation involves using technology to scaffold or modify instruction to support Multilingual Learners in developing their language skills while mastering content knowledge. Through adaptation, educators can tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of MLs by providing tools such as visuals, text-to-speech platforms, and resources that generate texts at various language proficiency levels. These tools help bridge language gaps, reduce cognitive overload, and make academic content more accessible for MLs.
