If you are a bookshop, publisher or distributor interested in An Economy of Want, please get in touch via the Contact Form
Currently the book is self-published on Amazon, because for an unknown author, this seemed the best way to make it available. I bought my own ISBN so that the book may be sold by other vendors, released by other publishers, and stocked by libraries.
I am able to buy author’s copies of the book at substantially less than the Amazon retail price. For a limited number of London bookshops I supply and deliver books at that price on sale or return, allowing the bookshop to retail at the Amazon price. For these bookshops, I am happy to support sales in any way that I can, e.g. with flyers, signings, etc. If you are a bookshop that might be interested in this arrangement: please contact me if you would like a sample copy.
If sales grow to a level that I cannot support in the above manner, I will look for a publisher willing to re-issue and distribute the book.
I would be interested in re-publishing the book as is, or re-edited, as you advise. I'd also consider publishing part of the book (it is suggested that the first part would make a good introductory economics text), and working with a co-author if significant changes or additions were proposed.
If you wish to stock the book, let me know. In some cases I may simply donate the book.
