Like its cousin, this procedure is equally as dangerous. Both of the optic nerves are replaced with one artificial optic input which practically drills down into the optic chiasm, slightly decreasing the user's field of view, and allowing them only to use one single vault optic, though, with its function being significantly enhanced. But, removing such a vital part of the human body can cause problems for the mind.

A strange combination of injectors and software installed onto the person using it, the Chrome Compressor allows someone suffering from Overchrome Syndrome (OCS) to offset the mental effects it causes.
It works by suppressing the norepinephrine in the brain, and alongside propriety technology, numbs some of the effects of OCS. However it is fragile, and one wrong punch or fall will lead to it's self-destruction. Once disabled or removed, the user immediate succumbs to the horrors of Overchrome; and rapidly advances into the end-stages of the disease.
