North Pole Covered Bridge is located on North Pole Road three miles east of State Route 68 in southeastern Brown County Ohio. At one time, this Bridge was called the Iron Bridge after Ripley Iron Pike Road. The North Pole Covered Bridge spans Eagle Creek. Eagle Creek carries tremendous amounts of water as it is the major drainage channel for southeastern Brown County.

The Bridge was built in 1875 with a Smith Truss. The 156-foot, single span Bridge rests on cut-stone abutments. The Bridge has been well-maintained and finds itself bypassed and allows only pedestrian traffic. The decking has vertical boards with additional vertical runners. The roof is white tin and the siding has vertical, weathered boards.
