The Riverdale Road Covered Bridge spans the Grand River. The Bridge was built in 1874 with a Town lattice truss. The Riverdale Bridge had a new roof and siding installed in 1965. In 1981, the floor was rebuilt using steel girders. Riverdale Road Covered Bridge is 140-feet long and rests on cut stone abutments and a center steel bracing that rests on a concrete pier. The pier was added in 1945. The Bridge towers over the Grand River by 55-feet. The exterior has a shingled roof, knotty, weathered wood siding and one small window on either side. The interior indicates a multi-leveled superstructure addition to secure the Bridge.
