Cain Road Covered Bridge spans a branch of the Ashtabula River with a single span. Cain Road Bridge is rare because was constructed and designed by Engineer Joln Smolen in 1986. The Bridge was designed with a Pratt truss. The Bridge length is 96-feet, width is 19-feet and is 15-feet tall. It has a long narrow window extending down both sides of the Bridge. It rests on concrete abutments. The exterior has natural wood plank siding, is salt treated, and has galvanized connectors. Cain Road Covered Bridge is one Ashtabula's hearth of beautiful covered bridges.
