Wellington likes to think it's a city of culture - arts, entertainments, general fun and partying. That might be because there isn't much else here other than government, and even that has taken a serious knock in the the mid-20s. It can be hard to find a coffee after 3pm, or a meal on Monday/Tuesday nights. Still, here goes...
There's basically nothing I'd go to Te Papa to see ... perhaps the 'earthquake house'.
Again, there's never anything worth seeing here (and it's currently closed - again.)
Fantastic 'prosthetics' for Lord of the Rings and 150 other well-known movies, games, etc
Careful to treat animals with respect, the Zoo is a pleasant chance to meet some unusual Wellingtonians.
