Upper Hutt - Golder Cottage

John Golder was an 'early pioneer', a woodworker, house-builder and furniture maker - and this is the home he built for his family in 1876. He and his wife were clearly proficient in other ways too, since in time this tiny cottage housed no fewer than John, Jane and their twelve children.
