Republic day 2021

The republic day of 2021 was celebrated with usual fervor this year too as per the agenda given above

As has been a practice of the association , this year too a senior citizen was honored. It is Smt. Kamala Ranganathan, mother of Smt. Vidya ramaswamy and Smt. Jayashreee Kannan of Pugazhendhi street.

Sri Ranganathan was a well known personality in this locality more by his service minded attitude and the unassuming nature with which he carries it out. His wife Smt. Kamala is equally noble and talented soul. She was an art teacher by profession. She won many accolades & awards for her talent including an award from the then Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi for her contribution to the art. Her art work and the accolade certificate can be viewed in the PHOTO album below.
