NEW and Returning Staff are trained on the district wide standardized tests, PARCC, an acronym for Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers standardized assessments in contents of Mathematics and English Language Arts in Grades 6-10. Students in high school need to have the credits beyond grade 9-10, which is defined by the Mathematics and English Language Arts courses completed, i.e. non-completion of Algebra I and ELA 1 or ELA 2 will lead to inclusion to PARCC testing cohorts for GRADE 9 and GRADE 10.
Preparation for PARCC and ACCESS will consist of practice tests with testing cohorts three times a year, i.e. ANET or WIDA practice tests.
