• Chantilly Track & Field Completed the Regional Championship Meet on 2/15/23 at the PG Sports and Learning Center.

The Women's team placed 11th with 13 points. The Men's team placed 4th with 48.

Top 3 performances and State qualifying marks will advance competitors to the State Championship meet taking place next Friday and Saturday at the VA Beach Sportsplex.

===== CROSS COUNTRY STATES =====

• Congratulations to the Chantilly boys cross country team for finishing 3rd in the Virginia 6A State cross country championships. This is the highest finish for a boys team since 2016, and is tied for the 3rd highest finish in school history (with the 1986, 1992, 2014 & 2016 teams), and behind the 2012 & 2013 state championship teams! The boys scored 129 pts (1 ahead of 4th Place Patriot, and trailed Region champions WT Woodson and Oakton).

• Shoutout to the runners: Tristan Thurneysen (20th), Jack Morgan (30), Brian Creeks (37), Sam Romasanta (38), Luke Barlow (53), Alex Morris (62) and Raymond Creeks (66).
