-unable to fly or walk
-drooping wing
-broken beak or foot
-closed, red, or bubbling eyes
-ruffled feathers
-weakness

-discharge from eyes, mouth, or nose
-unable to hold up their head
-other general signs of injury and illness
If a waterfowl has been attacked by an animal, looks injured near a road, or shows any of the signs of injury and illness, contact a wildlife rehabilitator.
Signs that a waterfowl is orphaned: Baby waterfowl should be in very close proximity to their mother. If a baby waterfowl is alone and the mother does not return or the mother is clearly dead, contact a wildlife rehabilitator for assistance.
