Signs that a skunk is orphaned: If a baby skunk is seen without their mother multiple times, does not return to a den, or the mother does not come to retrieve the baby, the baby is most likely orphaned. If you know that the mother is dead or suspect the baby is orphaned, contact a wildlife rehabilitator.
