Plus, we have Daisy leading Rainbow Readers club.
Brigid and Struan will be leading our citizenship ambassadors by putting into action a variety of events to help us look after the planet and each other.

Well done to all the players who took part in The Games this weekend. Hiue congratulations to Hunter, Silas and Rafe for being part of the winning team with Kingussie.

We have been learning about mandalas and mindfulness art in our festivals and faiths IDL so we decided to create some of our own. We worked cooperatively to create colourful and imginative designs that we will display on our gallery wall in The Snug.
Festivals and Faiths
We have had a great morning looking at all of thewonderful art inspired by world faiths and festivals. We have Budhism, Sikhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism represented through paint, pastel, models, stories and illustration. An amazing display is now in our Canteen area.

P6&7 participated in the annual Science fair provided by Scott and Newton Science. This year we were learning all about coding, programming and robots. We discussed numeracy, science and technology. A great STEM day out.
Another year of Awesome costumes and fun. The children have taken part in dancing, colouring, a costume parade and games. plus some halloween snacks and a film. A great spooky day for everyone.
The P7s have all settled in well and are having a great time participating in the activities and meeting the other P7s from across the area.
Alvie Primary school were delighted to participate in the Village Remembrance service on Sunday. We made Le Bleuet flowers which were displayed. Plus, pupils from past and present read poems, readings and facts.
The children were a credit to the village, families and the school.
Wow, what a fantastic day we had in our PJs.
We raised £37 for Children in Need.
Many thanks to everyone for taking part and a huge well done to the Pupil Council for organising a great event.
P7 have had a marvellous time organising the fantastic sponsor day for the whole school as part of their leadership. The whole school enjoyed themselves by being super active all afternoons.
We raise a staggering £710. Thank you to all of you for being so generous and helping us with our school projects
At Alvie we had lots of snow, so had fun making the most of it!
We worked cooperatively in groups to build snowmen. Then we created posters with instructions for how to build a snowman.
The Children have been busy decorating their classes and getting ready for the festive period.
The P1s have continued the tradition of decorating the tree for the school. The Christmas show, on Thursday 20th December. You are all welcome to come along and celebrate Christmas with us. The dorrs open at 1.45 and the show starts at 2.00.

IDL Project Term 2
This term the pupils invented a contraption to help Santa deliver the presents to all the children. Pia, Max and Gabe made some fantastic sleighs to help out on Christmas Eve. Well done to everyone - a fantastic effort and lots of house points.
Well done to Malki for winning the Village Flag competition. Malki designed a flag to connect the world. The village flag was chosen by Anne Vestano. The flag is flying in the village for us all to see.
Christmas Jumper design
P7 organised a Christmas Juepr drawing STEM project. well done to Kit, Maiten and Struan. Some amazing and colourful designs for a festive jumper.
Emma and Kyle from Fèis Spè came in this morning for a lovely assembly. They taught us a Gaelic song, played the clarsach and accordion and told us all about what they get up to at Fèis Spè. It was a lovely Friday treat!

Well done to Alvie Primary Shinty Winners! It sounds like an excellent day and great sportsperson-ship from you all! :)
