Siberian Husky

The Siberian Husky was the 9th breed to be introduced to Alacrity. 

The Siberian Husky come from Asia and were used as sled dogs.

Huskies are 20-24 inches, 35-60 pounds and have a life expectancy of 12-14 years.

Siberian Huskies do not require a lot of baths but do require weekly brushing.

Since they are a working breed they do need a lot of exercise.  

As with most dogs socialization and training as a puppy if very important.

They have a thick double coat, are great runners and don't tire out easily.

Most love the cold and snow.
