Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was the very first breed to be introduced to Alacrity.

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is described as affectionate, friendly, intelligent, and eager to please. They are noted as being relatively easy to train due to their eager nature.While similar in looks to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, the two are different breeds.

Strong, low-set, and sturdy, the Pembroke was bred for herding livestock by Flemish weavers around 1107 AD. Today, the breed excels at not just herding, but also at obedience and flyball.
