Developers have infected our State and City politicians with lots of campaign money to build, build, build. With no regard for the citizens and neighborhoods where they are putting these egregious builds, most with little to NO parking destroying residential neighborhoods and shopping centers alike just cramming and jamming as many tiny units, some as small as 350 sq ft as they can in with extremely high rents.
With absolutely no chance for those renters to EVER become homeowners.
These were supposed to be “affordable housing” and they have been anything but.
I try to keep all our grassroots folks up to date on what is happening in our city with the following programs.
CITY based
(Before we forced the City Council to amend the program we had one developer putting in 10,12 & 18 ADU’s in one backyard)
2. Complete Communities program
(Towers in residential neighborhoods)
3. Zoned multi-family housing
(towers as I call them) with no parking
4. Homes For All of Us
(The Mayors program to cram as many row houses onto 900 sq ft lots)
5 . ZONE ZERO - fire regulations in our City
(secretly voted in December 16, 2025 with NO public input and said we all MUST comply on February 1st 2027, 2 years ahead of what the State is requesting that could end up costing homeowners thousands and thousands of dollars to comply)
STATE based
1. Senate Bill 79 - Multi-family towers in residential communities "supposedly near transit stops, whether those transit stops currently exist or not
2. ZONE ZERO - fire regulations from our State

All this is in an effort to help the citizens to not be blindsided by these projects because the City does not want you aware until the bulldozers show up on your street………yikes!

Can you and your fellow neighbors and friends….
1. Time Ceders - Contribute some time at one of the City Council meetings downtown where you help the Speakers by what is called ceding them your 1 minute? No need for you to speak so don’t be nervous. We will let you know when an opportunity may arise.
2. Court Hearings - Attend one of our lawsuit court hearings just to show the judge the citizens of San Diego are against our neighborhoods' destruction? Again we will let you know if/when an opportunity may arise.
3. Protests - Attend one of our protests - those are fun!
4 Meetings - Attend one of our grassroots meetings/Town Halls to see what we are all about? I hope you find those informative and fun too.
5. Spread the word - Let your friends and neighbors know what we are doing with our websites and how to join our email list
6. Events - We have a CALENDAR on our website that keeps you up to what is happening with City Council meetings and Land Use meetings concerning housing, our Town Halls/meetings, protests, court hearings, seminars, etc.
