According to Mr. Spicer, Mr. Stech of SUNDAE Inc. that advertises on TV they will buy your house, finds him properties that are what Mr. Spicer calls the "Golden Ticket." Meaning residential homes with no pool or elaborate backyard landscaping he has to tear out. We are not sure how this really works since SUNDAE is suppose to be a bidding software program that gets homeowners the highest price?
Then Mr. Spicer has his money man Mr. Thomas Hinson of Fletcher Cove Capital get him investors to purchase the property.
Once he has purchased the property he sends his plans which generally are coverting the main house into
two units. Where he cuts the garage off from main house and makes into a studio or 1 bedroom. Then he crams in as many 441 sq. ft. two story 1 bedroom boxes into the backyard of the house as he can.
Then the City's Rapid Reponse team dedicated just to ADU BONUS developers pushes it through plan check. Then his construction company Vertical MVMT and contractor Jody Watkins show up and

As the Union Tribune article states his background is in property management.
Mr. Christian Spicer was hired by the property management company Ascent Property Management but was later fired.
Mr. Spicer filed a civil lawsuit and it was dismissed on July 2nd 2020. Case # 37-2018-0043144-CU-WT-CTL

However after his exposure at the June 16th 2025 at San Diego City Council meeting he has since hidden them from public view.
