群聚生態學、理論生態學實驗室
本研究室對於群聚生態學與理論生態學的相關研究都很有興趣。我們的研究著重於了解物種間的交互作用的強度,像是生態群落中物種彼此間的競爭者、捕食與互利共生。我們想去了解並預測這些複雜的交互作用如何維持,以及交互作用如何去影響不同尺度下的生物多樣性。目前,我們以植物與土壤微生物間的交互作用為主要研究對象,探究這些交互作用如何形塑植物群聚。我們的研究結合了生態理論建模、野外觀察以及操作性實驗不同的方法。更多研究室介紹請參考研究室網站。
Research topics in the lab are broadly related to community ecology and theoretical ecology. Our research aims to understand what determines the strength of species interactions and predict the community- and ecosystem-level consequences of these interactions. Species interact with competitors, predators, and mutualists within ecological communities; understanding how these complex interactions maintain species diversity provides the necessary knowledge for predicting and regulating the state of ecological systems. Currently, we focus on how plant communities are structured by the interactions among plants and their associated soil microbes, with approaches ranging from theoretical modeling to field observations and manipulative experiments.
