The fund supports teams of teachers to develop innovative practices that improve learning outcomes especially for students who are Māori, Pacific, students with additional learning needs or students who are disadvantaged.

- I hope to see the excellent algebra results continue this year.
- I hope to build my game based pedagogy with the help of student voice.
- In 2020 I hope to build on 2019 success.
- In 2021 I hope to build on 2020 success.
- At the end of 2021 I hope to have enough data to prove that game based learning in mathematics has the capacity to turbo charge student agency.
- Three years od data, with over 100 students per year, is over 300 students worth of success.
- The goal is for every student to make significant gains in algebra over the year.
- Publish some kind of summary in 2022.
