Bureau Updates
This presentation will cover the accomplishments made by the Bureau over the past twelve months in implementing legislation. Since the 2017 Education Conference, new rules regarding the Drug Free Workplace, Claims Handling Standards, and medical e-billing have gone into effect. Changes were made to the Medical Fee Schedule. The new Adjuster Certification Program has been introduced. And, revisions to the Bureau’s General Rules will go into effect this summer. The legislature has funded TN Together to tackle the opioid crisis in the state. This session will discuss these new rules and lay the groundwork for the three-day conference by outlining the topics to be discussed in the days that follow.
