Terri Bryson holds a bachelor’s in communications, a master’s in education, and is ABD in work towards a PhD in Cognition and Learning. Her responsibilities at Motlow State Community College include the development and launch of Motlow’s Center for Automation and Robotics Training in McMinnville Tennessee. The facility is part of the State of Tennessee’s Drive to 55 initiatives to get 55% of Tennessee’s population tooled with postsecondary degrees or credentials by 2025. The mission is to help more adults attend college and complete a degree or gain a high-wage certification in programs. Serving post-secondary for almost 15 years, Bryson is an industry transplant to education. She’s worked in business development in fields such as healthcare, finance, and manufacturing most of her career by leading market growth initiatives for a number of Southeastern companies. She transitioned to education where she has worked steadfastly to ensure access, affordability, and transferability of market-ready educational pathways.
