Kimberly Wickert, MRC, CRC, is VocWorks’ Director of Rehabilitation Services and has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 1992 and has worked in the field of rehabilitation since 1989. Kimberly has partnered with employers to assist them in development and implementation of their disability management focusing on Alternative Return to Work Programs. She’s served as an adjunct instructor in the Rehabilitation Counseling Program at Kent State University teaching vocational rehabilitation classes. Kimberly has been an adjunct instructor in the Rehabilitation Program at Wright State University, as well as a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University’s Rehabilitation Program.
Kimberly has served as a program advisory member for rehabilitation agencies and programs in Ohio such as Kent State University’s Rehabilitation Counseling Program and Upper Valley Medical Centers Work FORCE program.
Kimberly has been a member of the VocWorks team since June of 1997 providing case management and vocational services as well as management oversight for the past 18 years. Based on her personal experience as a caregiver and professional experience as a rehabilitation counselor, Kimberly co-authored, “The Sandwich Generation’s Guide to Eldercare,” an “Indie Fab” Gold Award winning book in 2013. Kimberly was chosen as the Vocational Expert for the Ohio School Employees Retirement System from an RFP of multiple candidates in 2015. She has worked with organizations to assist them in the development and implementation of Alternative Work Programs nationally. Kimberly has been chosen as a subject matter expert to speak about Return to Work Programs at national conferences including PRIMA and the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference in 2017.
