Lisa Lowe

Lisa A. Lowe has served as a Judge with the Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims since June 2014. Prior to serving as a judge, she was a Workers’ Compensation Specialist 4 with the Division of Workers’ Compensation from 2005-June 2014. Before working with the Division, Lisa practiced with the insurance defense firm, Lowe, Shirley & Yeager, for eleven years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tennessee and her law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Lisa served in various capacities with and was a former President of Knoxville Barristers and was previously on KBA’s Board of Governors. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the National Association of Workers’ Compensation Judiciary. Lisa has spoken frequently about workers’ compensation law at continuing education seminars.
