Sea Squall Spin

Facade & queue

Located nearby the lake is a dual-structure featuring two different levels of thrill in each ride system. Both structures feature a blue floor made to look like a raging ocean with individual waterspouts swirling on the top of it.

The queue of the attraction is mainly located outside, passing through a statue garden of the gods of Slavic mythology. Statues of the god of sky and storm, as well as the Zorya and the wind brothers.

Once guests are by the loading area, they pass by a small lagoon that surrounds the attractions, giving the attraction more of an in-water feel.

Ride

The two ride systems are connected by a diverging queue, much like the queue at Mission: SPACE in Epcot. One queue brings guests towards the milder version of the attraction known as the "Waterspout" version. The waterspout version serves as a traditional teacups attraction, with basic spinning mechanisms that mimic other teacup style rides. This is the lighter version that is made for those who may not be comfortable with the bouncing nature of the other version.

The other version of the attraction is the "maelstrom" version, which features a new and unique ride vehicle exclusively made for this attraction. While the spinning mechanism attatches to the floor as any other spinner would, the vehicle here is propped up by a spring similar to the ones found in the bouncer rides that can be found in playgrounds around the world. The bouncing spring allows the ride vehicle to bend and sway throughout the attraction, giving it a unique movement system, simulating not just the spinning within a storm, but being thrown every which-way.
