Sheriff Gud Fortune otherwise known as "The Man with No Brain" is a Leslie Nielsen-type sheriff, he is very incompetent at his job, but still very lovable officer of the law in the Frigid Frontier. He walks around and shows his (lack of) knowledge when it comes to anything related to law enforcement. Occasionally an outlaw will attempt an escape and Sheriff Fortune always win, of course thanks to a mix of luck and the thief's own incompetence.

A band of miners plays at a camp near the Yukon River. Four members play the banjo, a horn, a fiddle, and one person doing the vocals. They play various traditional country tunes for guests midway between the town and the wild wilderness.
