Arendelle Visitor Hall

Written by @DashHaber

The Arendelle Visitor Hall stands as a place for all to be welcomed into the Kingdom of Arendelle with open arms. What luck for you today, as Princess Anna and Queen Elsa have turned up to welcome new visitors like you!

Building Exterior

Among the buildings in Arendelle is one structure that has a more formal appearance to its masonry. The brick masonry is topped with a green snow-covered roof, a spire on its top helping to catch the eyes of passersby. Banners of Arendelle’s flag hang from lampposts out front, signifying a more governmental presence here. There is a gated path to help guide guests inward, with windows possessing diamond-shaped patterns giving a slight peek inside.

Building Interior

Once guests are inside, they walk through wooden halls that are reminiscent of some of the palace’s hallways. Woven banners hang on these walls, depicting a variety of images related to Arendelle. For example, one depicts ships sailing into a harbor, while another shows a group of icemen hard at work gathering their ice. There is even one that depicts the legendary Rock Trolls.

Heading further in, guests reach the lobby of the Visitor Hall. A chandelier hangs above to help illuminate the room, along with some candle-holders on the walls. As guests enter the lobby, they will notice three paintings on the walls. To the left, a painting of Anna as she stands with hands on hips and a playful smirk on her face. To the right, a painting of Elsa standing in a wintry scene, the cold not bothering her. To front is a painting of the royal family from earlier days, with King Agnarr and Queen Iduna seated together. Anna and Elsa are there, too, as children in the middle of crafting a snowman that will someday be known as Olaf. Resting in a display case in front of this painting are the orb and scepter used during the royal coronation.

Eventually, a Visitor Hall attendant will let guests know they are ready. At last, guests are led into the receiving room, where Anna and Elsa await. The room is reminiscent of the great hall in the castle, though still a bit simpler. Red curtains with a light golden floral print offer a splash of color among the softer hues of the Visitor Hall’s walls. It is here where guests will get to meet, talk to, and even get a photograph with Anna and Elsa. Anna is dressed in her adventuring outfit from Frozen, as is Elsa in her iconic ice dress. Most of the time they wear these outfits, though during the holiday season, they'll be dressed in their outfits from Olaf's Frozen Adventure. After such a fun meeting, guests are led into the exit hallway, now with fond memories of meeting the Princess and Queen of Arendelle.
