One of the most popular events is the ‘Outdoor Community Day’, where parents, students, and teachers visit the Outdoor Education Centre for a day of fun and activities. This day is an excellent opportunity for families to get involved with the school and get to know other members of the community. Activities typically include kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and outdoor drama classes. The days is also filled with a wonderful community potluck dinner and this event help to strengthen the bonds within the community and foster a sense of belonging.

Thailand is home to many different species of snakes, and it's essential for people to know how to stay safe when encountering them. On this day, students learn about the different types of snakes found in the region and how to stay safe if they come into contact with them. They learn about the importance of snakes in the ecosystem, how to coexist with them and have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a pair of rescued domesticated snakes, this experience is a thrilling experience for so many of our students.

The school also hosts several sailing regattas throughout the year, giving our students regular opportunities to participate in meaningful and exciting competition. These events are an important part of the wider sailing pathway, allowing students to put their skills into practice in a real race environment and apply what they have been developing through training. Regattas help students grow not only in technical ability, but also in confidence, tactical awareness, resilience, and composure under pressure.

These events also give students the valuable experience of competing against other clubs and sailors from across the region, helping them understand the standards and expectations of the sport beyond the school setting.
