Mini Mantas outdoor learning program is sepcifially designed for early years children and adopts a play-based approach, focused on providing positive outdoor experiences that foster a love for nature and encourage environmental awareness. Our program takes place in the abundant outdoor spaces on campus including the school gardens, providing children with opportunities to connect with their local environment, engage in outdoor play, and learn through exploration and discovery.
We believe that play-centred education is the best way for young children to learn about the world around them. Our program is designed to be flexible and adaptable, to respond to the interests and needs of the children we work with, and to provide them with a safe and supportive environment in which to learn and grow. Our program is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all children, regardless of their background or abilities and we encourage all children to explore the natural world around them, to ask questions, and to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the living things that surround us.
Through our play-based approach, we help children to develop a range of skills and abilities, from physical coordination and social skills to critical thinking and problem-solving. We use a variety of play-based learning activities, such as role-play, storytelling, and sensory play, to engage children in fun and meaningful learning experiences that are tailored to their individual needs.
