Our early-years outdoor learning program is designed to provide young children with a unique opportunity to learn about the natural world around them. We believe that by connecting children with nature from a young age, they can develop a deep appreciation and understanding of their environment, which can have a positive impact on their future attitudes and behaviors towards nature.
Our outdoor learning program takes place both on and off campus in spaces that provide stimulating environments for children to explore, discover, and learn. We have carefully curated themes of learning that use the natural environment to support the learning objectives of our program, and we encourage children to observe and with the natural elements that surround them every time they step outside the classroom.
Through a range of engaging and interactive activities, we help children to develop their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, while also fostering their environmental awareness. We encourage children to observe and interact with the natural world, to ask questions, and to make connections between the living things they encounter and the broader ecological systems in which they exist.
Our program is designed to be flexible and adaptable, to respond to the changing seasons and weather patterns, and to take advantage of the unique learning opportunities that different times of the year can offer. We provide children with the tools and resources they need to explore and investigate, and we encourage them to use their senses to engage with their environment fully.
At the heart of our outdoor learning program is a commitment to fostering a love of nature in young children, empowering them to take an active role in caring for their environment, and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to become responsible and engaged citizens of the world. By starting every child's journey learning about and through nature, we believe we can create a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
