SMC, or support.microsoft.com, is the support website of Microsoft. It provides detailed information on all Microsoft applications and products, serving millions of visitors per month. While the site can understand who a user is and their intent, the current version of SMC still shows the same content to every user, even if they sign in. Microsoft feels that this generalized presentation does a disservice to its customers. To improve the experience, our research team has developed more personalized SMC solutions, with a particular focus on users from very small businesses (VSBs).
