The Microsoft Support Community is a volunteer-based support community where users can ask and answer questions about Microsoft products and services. The community users currently don't have a clear pathway to becoming a Volunteer Moderator (VM), who are nominated for their role due to the high quality of answers and commitment to improving the community. Our goal is to create a collaborative platform for all users to come together and share ideas; we believe that by having a channel that fosters competition and cross-pollination, users are more likely to grow their expertise as Microsoft product enthusiasts and become confident and well-versed VMs.
