Just Right Bite - a Seattle startup that bakes and sells insect-based dog treats, is a new company with a DIY brand. The company’s sales channels include an online direct-to-customer store as well as local farmer’s markets and pop-ups. The company would like to improve their packaging and expand to to retail and wholesale and eventually grow nationally. Currently, JRB’s exposure is limited to word-of-mouth. After a heuristic evaluation of their digital and physical properties, it appeared a rebrand would be helpful to attract the attention of potential customers. There were accessibility issues with its website and its packaging would face stiff competition to be noticed in a retail store, such as Mud Bay. The rebrand includes a new logo, package, product diversification (pre-order), ads and website.
