Digital Initiatives Group at I‐TECH (DIGI) is a center in the University of Washington’s Department of Global Health. DIGI has been developing OpenELIS, an enterprise-level laboratory information system built on open-source web-based technologies tailored for public health laboratories in resource limited settings like Côte d'Ivoire and Haiti. There are two workflows that are key bottlenecks in the system: test order entry and test management. Our goal is to make these workflows more efficient for healthcare workers through a clear and modern UI.
