Weekly curling: Most Sundays starting November 13
The Utica Curling Club Youth Programs provide curling instruction for youths from age 5-17. The Youth Program is divided into two separate age-group sessions that meet most Sunday afternoons from early November through late March. Youth Curling (Junior) membership is $75 per year.
Little Rocker Program: Sundays, 2:30-4:00 pm
This program offers curling for youngsters who may be more comfortable with our lighter-weight junior or little rocker stones. This class is open to ages 5-12.
Junior Program: Sundays, 2:00-4:00 pm
This program is primarily designed for youths in middle school and high school. This is a great learning experience and we hope as your child grows, they continue to curl throughout their life. Juniors is open for those who are ages 13-17 (or younger if they demonstrate proficiency using regular stones). Juniors 16 and older as of November 1 with prior curling experience are eligible to enroll in one under-subscribed adult league each half of the season for a fee of $75 (each league) if enrolled and placed on a team.
Space is limited and spots will be filled in the order in which registration is received. Please do not remit dues unless requested by the Youth Curling organizers. Once registered, organizers will reach out as soon as possible to inform registrants of their status.
If space is available, we will offer Youth Try Curling sessions in November. Use the online registration form to sign up. The cost is $25 per session for the first two sessions. Attending and paying for a third session qualifies for full Junior membership.
Dropoff is not permitted for children under 10 years old. At least one parent or guardian is required to be in the building.
The Utica Curling Club is a dedicated curling facility with a warm room overlooking the ice, allowing spectators to comfortably watch curlers on the ice. Wifi is also available.
For the safety of our members and guests, anyone entering the building for the first time (e.g. parents/guardians and participants) must provide proof of vaccination status against Covid-19, sign a declaration of compliance, and comply with our Covid-19 policy.
