- Remove old showerhead
May need to use a non-marring strap wrench as a backup so you don't spin the shower arm.
Ensure the arm is in good enough shape to support the new head.
2. Clean thread and apply tape or compound

All old shower head must be disposed of.
Old shower heads are not allowed to remain with client.
3. Install new showerhead

New shower heads will be 2.5 GPH or less.
Clean threads and apply new thread tape or thread compound and install the new shower head.
Be sure not to overtighten and crush the rubber washer.

Turn on shower and make sure it functions properly and does not leak around the threads.
