1. Follow manufacture specs

• Each manufacturer has very specific instruction to installing retrofit EC Motors.

• Follow the manufacturer specifications for installation.

2. Test

• Test the performance of the new motor.

• Verify that the static pressure and heat rise are within the furnace manufacture specifications that are noted on the data information plate.

• Complete the Weatherization Furnace Clean & Tune Summary form. as shown above.

3. Client education

• Show the client the installed product and give them the installation manual in case they ever need to have another furnace technician service the equipment.
