SWS Detail: 7.0302.2 Fuel-Fired Storage Tank Water Heater

Verify the inlet and outlet gas pressure(s) are within manufacture specs.
Make sure all soot and other obstructions are removed from the burner plate.
Vacuum out the burner chamber removing any particles.
Conduct a Worst Case Draft (WCD) test to verify Category I, II, and III appliances are venting safely before leaving home for the day.
Testing shall be recorded using the Utah WAP Worst Case Draft Test form.
Conduct a combustion test on the water heater.
Fill out the Water heater safety checklist and place a copy on the client file.
Fill out and post a Green Sticker per the Good Practices guide.
Work done on natural gas burning appliances must be done by a Rocky Mountain Gas Association Certified Technician.
