Writing

•W 9.5 – Develop & strengthen writing as needed using writing process & peer edit

•W 9.7 – Conduct short & longer research projects to answer a question or solve a problem;

synthesize multiple sources on single subject; demonstrate understanding of topic

•W 9.8 - Gather relevant information from multiple authoritative print & digital sources; use

advanced searches effectively; assess usefulness of each source; integrate selectively;

avoid plagiarism; follow standard format for citation
