Foundations of Art: Elements of Art, Principles of Design

Media: Marker, Graphite Pencil, Google Slides or Prezi, Watercolor Paint, Clay,  Oil Pastels and Colored Pencils

Artists: Picasso, student choice, and  M.C. Escher

What students learn

Students discover space, contrast, form, rhythm, and movement.. Students create using marker, pencil, paint, and colored pencils. Students analyze artwork from various artists. Students connect art projects to various times in history and cultures.

1. Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work.
