This is where the students had their "Turkey Race". The students were grouped in two (the boys and the girls). The first group were the girls to run from what part of the field to the end of the field. At the end of the field were waiting their parents. Once the coach blew the whistle they ran as fast as they could to their parents. The same process was with the boys. This was a beautiful moment to see. To know that their parents were able to appear and support their kids is amazing to see. I got to meet some parents. It was a cool interaction.
This is where the kids from kindergarten to third grade went to a show. This show was in the "Universidad de Puerto Rico en Rio Piedras." The show was about "consent." Once the show was over, they had activities for the kids to win prizes. The kids went crazy because they wanted to participate to win prizes. It was really funny to see their reactions.
This was an activity that was given in the Kindergarten classroom. This activity was for Kindergarten until third grade. This is where the author of a puertorriquen book about "Mangos" came to the school. All the kids had a great time in story time with the actual author of the book. Fun seeing the kids participate.
