The research function of the university is the defining character that makes the institution a “knowledge-creation" agent of society.
WHY ARE WE HERE?
Pursuant to the mission... to be leading exponent of academic excellence, research, extension and innovative technology for sustainable development, the URC, being the knowledge-creation arm of the University, is mandated to design and implement the requisite policies, standards and guidelines towards becoming a leading academic institution.
UNC RESEARCH AGENDA
We are filled with pride as we celebrate Mr. John Patrick Cunanan, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nueva Caceres, for his thesis being selected as a finalist in the prestigious Design Anthology Year-End Show 2025!
The Research Center, through its partnership with Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. conducted a comprehensive needs assessment and community profiling for Villa Verde Village. This collaboration aims to support the community through the development of a sustainable livelihood program to address their financial needs and overall well-being.
The University of Nueva Caceres proudly welcomed the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation for a Benchmarking Visit last April 7, 2025. This collaborative exchange was a step forward in strengthening academic excellence, innovation, and institutional growth. Together, we continue to learn, lead, and inspire.
