On September 7, 2024, the University Research Center (URC) hosted a Research Writeshop at the Ragazzi Hotel, aimed at equipping UNC faculty members with essential skills for writing the introduction and methodology sections of their academic papers. This initiative underscores the URC's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for research development among its faculty, both teaching and non-teaching.
The writeshop featured two insightful lectures that centered on critical aspects of academic writing: introduction and methodology writing. These sessions were designed to provide attendees with the tools and techniques necessary to craft compelling and rigorous research papers.
In addition to the lectures, the writeshop provided participants with dedicated time to work on their own research papers. This collaborative environment fostered peer support and allowed attendees to apply the concepts learned during the lectures directly to their work. Faculty members engaged in discussions, exchanged ideas, and provided feedback to one another, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning and growth.
