On July 16, 2025, the UNC Research Center marked another milestone, along with members of the academic community, by launching the Research Manual 2025 Revised Edition. The event, held at the UNC Social Hall and led by Engr. Claze Therese Lasala, University Research Director, highlighted not only the updates to the manual but also the university's expertise and continued efforts in strengthening its research culture.

Faculty members from various departments, especially program heads, faculty handling research subjects, research advisers, and other university employees, actively participated in the event. The program commenced with welcoming remarks from the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Linkages, Engr. Christine Bautista, and the University President, Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya, which set the tone for a morning of learning and collaboration.

The presentation emphasized the key updates and additions designed to strengthen research implementation across the university. The revised manual includes improved guidelines, updated procedures, and clearer standards to assist faculty, deans, and students in conducting quality and ethical research.

Throughout the presentation, the Research Center underscored how the manual’s revisions align with the university’s mission to cultivate a culture of inquiry, innovation, and continuous improvement. Before the event concluded, participants were encouraged to share feedback and raise queries regarding the newly revised Research Manual 2025.
