After-Action
WHAT TO DO AFTER AN EMERGENCY
Following an emergency event MIDB occupants, supervisors, managers, and department leadership are responsible to take appropriate and conduct a timely after-action assessment. Additional action steps may be required based on the type of emergency
Basic Actions
Do not leave shelter or return until hearing the “All Clear” announcement
Document the event according to your Unit’s standard procedure
Provide additional information to the MIDB Safety & Incident Advisory
Committee as requested
Follow any additional Emergency Specific After-Action Procedures
Responder Actions
After Action Notification and Documentation
Account for all employees and report missing or unaccounted for persons to onsite Emergency Responders, 9-1-1, and the Front Desk 612-626-6440
Do not leave Shelter or Refuge until an “all clear” announcement has been made
Document the event according to your Department, Unit, or agency standards
Provide additional information to the MIDB Safety & Incident Advisory Committee as requested
Follow any additional Emergency Specific After-Action Procedures listed
