REQUESTING POLICE / EMERGENCY SERVICES ASSITANCE
If you need Police, Fire, or Medical to respond to your location, call 9-1-1 to speak with a Public Safety Emergency Communication Center (PSECC) dispatcher with the University of Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Basic Actions
Call 9-1-1, to request Police assistance, Fire, or Emergency Medical Services
Notify the MIDB Front Desk at 612-626-6440 if safe
Responder Actions
All MIDB personnel must follow these expectations when requesting police assistance, to include:
Contact the 9-1-1 Dispatcher by phone, request Police assistance, Fire, or Emergency Medical Services
Update the MIDB Front Desk at 612-626-6440 as the situation allows
Additional After Action Steps
Follow Actions to Take After an Emergency AND,
Document the event according to your Department, Unit, or agency standards.
Provide additional information to the MIDB Safety & Incident Advisory Committee as requested.
